A business analyst Is a person who assesses how the organization is performing and subsequently helps them improve the process and systems. They conduct various researches to come up with solutions so that it aligns with the company goals and vision.
A business analyst uses various models to ensure the business is running smoothly. He communicates with the senior people in the organization and finds out what they want to achieve and then formulates ways and means to improve the business. He also oversees the implementation of new technology and systems.
Evaluating the business processes, anticipating requirements, and developing and implementing solutions.
Conducting meetings with various people across the functions, getting their expectations, and ensuring the goals are achieved.
Working in close connection with the management, clients, and technicians.
Serving as a liaison between the users and stakeholders.
Run workshops and training sessions for the people
Must be a full-time graduate from a recognized university. (Candidates with MBA preferred)
Candidates with prior work experience as an analyst are an added advantage.
Must possess exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Must be able to handle and maintain a large number of documents.
Must possess excellent time management, planning, and organizing skills.
Must be able to persuade the stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and must be able to work with people at all levels of the organization.
The salary of a business analyst can vary across industries and differs from individual to individual with different work experiences. But a typical business analyst with at least 3 years of experience can earn anything between Rs. 5LPA- Rs.8LPA with salaries up to Rs.20LPA for experienced professionals. A fresher can expect starting salary of Rs. 3-4LPA.
